Six years ago, I was picking up my niece from a school in Hampstead. I remember thinking to myself, ‘this is madness, why is everyone clogging up the road and spending an hour on a 2-mile round trip?’ That moment triggered my curiosity with improving school transport.
It’s gone from being my keen interest to becoming HomeRun, a team of talented people, all equally dedicated to reducing the C02 emissions, traffic and air pollution associated with the school run.
We want to bring cutting edge technology and innovation to an area that has been typically overlooked. It's a complex area with lots of disconnected stakeholders, but the school run has a huge impact on our communities and our children.
