CASE STUDY : How a Market Town Used Data and Community to Rethink the School Run
In Market Harborough, a volunteer group, six primary schools and nearly 2,000 families proved what’s possible when community energy meets powerful data. Working with Active Travel Revolution , we brought HomeRun STEP to the town to analyse every school journey and validate it with a 53% parent survey response. The findings were striking: huge scope to increase walking by 51%, cut driving by 58%, unlock journey sharing, and focus action where it will have the greatest impact

CASE STUDY : Building STEP > The AI Engine for School Travel Planning

The impacts of the school run are getting worse

I believe the underlying issue is the lack of rich, actionable, school-run specific data, which is resulting in ineffective one-size fits all solutions being implemented - these do not address specific place-based transport requirements.
